More than 5 billions objects on Amazon S3

Amazon announced that their S3 storage service reached 5 billions stored objects. The Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) was launched more than 1 year ago and seems to be successful. This is a pay-per-use service. Users only pays the space they use while storing files on the server. On July 2006, only 800.000 files were stored.
